“Château du Moulin-à-Vent is probably the finest combination of parcels in the
Moulin-à-Vent appellation.”

David Schildknecht – The Wine Advocate

The complexity of its history and the singularities of its environment make Moulin-à-Vent a classic wine appellation for enthusiasts.

Through patience and perseverance, Édouard and Brice brought the estate to centre stage. Firm believers in Moulin-à-Vent, they put their heart, enthusiasm and curiosity to use. Courtesy of their pragmatic and lucid approach, they created excellent wines all the while shaping tomorrow’s vineyard.

Moulin-à-Vent provides a large diversity of terroirs over a limited area. Within the Beaujolais region, the designated Moulin-à-Vent area / appellation benefits from unique soil and environmental conditions

The estate is spread across the castle, the windmill and the village of “Thorins”. The old, densely set vines of Gamay noir variety flourish across twenty-three terroirs whose wines express themselves brilliantly

The longevity of Château du Moulin-à-Vent on the international stage is proof of its character : exciting things have, and will, take place at the estate. This strong belief, over three centuries, has rallied past and present estate’s owners.
